Cait has carried out work throughout the UK and in Holland, France and Ireland. Her work was chosen for a major refurbishment of the flagship Hilton hotel, Dunkeld House Hotel.Sterling Furniture Group where Cait has worked extensively producing room sets and decorative accents is the largest furniture group in Europe. Cait Whitson worked in Holland for a year creating finishes for the home of Toine Hezeman, the famous Dutch racing driver of the 1970's. A recent restoration project of hers was the Carling Glasgow Academy where she was asked to match Vitrolite panels in the foyer and stairwell. Now in partnership with her husband Gibson Donaldson, she returned to her native Scotland and they relocated to Perthshire and have a studio in the historic village of Dunning.
The services that her consultancy Carte Blanche offers are graining and marbling, paint effects for walls and woodwork, stenciling, murals, hand painted furniture both fitted and freestanding.
