Guest Instructor – Cait Whitson

We are honored to have renowned Scottish decorative artist Cait Whitson teaching this extraordinary class. As a talented artist and teacher Cait will guide you on a journey through the intricate processes of marbling and wood graining. In her very personable, humorous and one-on-one way she will instruct using the techniques of the great masters that have been held secret for generations.

The particular finishes have been carefully selected to provide you with a gradual learning experience in addition to a beautiful color range for your portfolio. This class is filled with extras including a trip to The Manship House and Barbeque, Beer and Business evening where we will discuss the business of Decorative art. The Southern Institute of Faux Finishing is Cait's signature studio and we rae thrilled to have her back again this year. As last year we plan to have a big homecoming. This year it will be a Ceilidh, which we found out from our trip to Scotland this past June, translates "Fun, Fiddlers and lots of frockling".
